Betty Belts, an independent woman-owned company, was inspired by a love of surfing and the ocean. Since 2003, Donna von Hoesslin and a collective of artisans have been offering unique ethically handmade belts, jewelry and accessories.

In a world which encourages mindless following, soulless products and companies, Betty B.'s mantra is "Be authentic, buy authentic." Betty Belts and Betty B. accessories are designed to inspire and connect people with the beauty and peace of an ocean centric existence.

Donna takes her inspiration from her love of the ocean and has created a beautiful selection of hand made belts and jewelry with beadwork, sustainably farmed mother of pearl, recycled glass and wood bead designs. Her focus is on timeless style with nature, creating sustainable and affordable pieces to enjoy for many years to come.

Betty Belts and Betty B. accessories are hand-made and marketed with environmental and social sustainability the highest priority. There are no sweat shops and no factories used, work is contracted out to independent, mostly woman-owned artisan workshops in Bali, Indonesia. Donna takes great effort to make sure everyone in the process of manufacturing is treated with respect. She wants to feel good about her product and where it comes from so you can feel good about wearing it.
