We had a litter of 11 puppies born on Wed. August 16th. The father is Beagle/Husky and the mother is Black Lab/Australian Shepard. We will be keeping 2 of the puppies but need homes for the other 9. There are 5 white with black spots, 2 gold, and 4 black with white markings in the tummy areas. If you're interested please e-mail ebigwood@hotmail.com |

If you got your dog fixed, it wouldn't have puppies. If you can't afford it, there are services out there who will do it cheap, if not for free. The overpopulation of cats and dogs is an epidemic that the entire world faces. There is NO one to blame except those who are irresponsible pet owners. One more thing. Offering "Free to good home" is not much different than taking the animals to testing labs. Labs and people trying to make money selling animals to labs look through want adds and try to get the animals that are free to good home. Be responsible creatures of the earth, please. love secretphunky |

<< One more thing. Offering "Free to good home" is not much different than taking the animals to testing labs. >>This is true. At least charge a placement fee & get them to commit to getting their animals fixed. Most shelters offer spaying or neutering at $35-$50. Also, try to place the dogs in family homes. Giving a dog to a college student is giving the dog a death sentence in most cases. |

i hope you find good homes for your puppies. its a shame that people sometimes take an honest effort & turn it into something evil. im quite sure you arent up in CO. sitting around plotting how to impregnate your dog & sell off the puppies to a lab somewhere. things just happen- its nature. i mean, we dont go around *spaying & neutering* ourselves just to prevent unwanted litters now do we?if i werent so far away i might take you up on one myself... but im over in md. ive actually just returned from tennessee, where i bought myself a PUPPY. i drove 17 hours for a rottweiler. and i tell ya, shes an angel. if everyone spayed or neutered their animal, i would not be blessed with this beautiful creature...this companion, guardian, & friend. peace brother. dont listen tothese people. they arent true. If it wasnt for my trailer park not allowing I would be more than happy to take one. To go with my dog, 4 cats and 5 exoticd birds. all adopted/ taken in from people who couldnt take care of or got the birds as furniture.. Parrots are quite the opposite. good luck in your endeavor and I will check around to see if anyone here can help out.Guaranteed no science wind ups for the pups.

Don't listen to people about how wrong it is not to fix your animals...and if you can't afford it you shouldn't have them. My shepherd wasn't spayed and she was as happy as a pig in mudd. Healthy as an ox too. Animals and people are born with these parts and it shouldn't be considered neglect because you disable them not to use them. Why not just chop off one of thier legs. I do agree that there should be steps to prevent your dog from getting impregnated; but stuff happens. I think it's a blessing. If it's not conisdered crulety for a person not to have it done... it shouldn't be cruelty for an animal not to have it done. I don't believe a dog should be bred repeativly no... but once isn't bad. My dog lived 18 long happy years and she wasn't fixed. As long as they are found good homes and responcibility is in effect over thier care that is all that matters. It sounds that you have a few good inquiries on your puppies already...Good luck |

If a person is responcable enough to try to find them a home I dont think anyone should bad mouth them at least thay are not putting them in a sack and throwing them in the river. |

Sounds like Prince Dog Lovers is looking to sell or breed the pups. I am susupicious as to why they want so many, hmmmm!Be careful. One mistake and one litter; it happens. Be careful and responisible in choosing decent, caring and loving homes for all the pups. Good luck and wise choosing! |

I think you are great there are a lot of people out there that would love dogs if given to them. there are a lot of reasons they would not go to a human society I know I got two kittens and had to take them both back they would not stop pooping in the house instead of litter box. so you do what you want but I think it is very kind of you and loving. |

YES...mistakes do happen, but people are naive and ignorant to believe it's OK & it just happens. Spay and neuter is essential to controlling the overpopulation in this country when 8-10 MILLION animals are put to death each year due to irresponsible owners. Do people think that the females enjoy being pregnant over & over? I do commend you for trying to find them homes, that's great, good luck...then, have the mother spayed, please! |
