hello all you fellow hippies, can anyone tell me where they find hippie friends, I live in a small little hick town, I feel like the black sheep. no one here thinks the same way I do.peace!!!!!!!!

hey I also live in a very small hick town and im the only somewhat hippie girl in my school. I never fit in really to alot of peoples group so I don't limit myself to one group of friends. I'm what you could say a social butterfly because I just talk to everyone about what they want to talk about. I think for people like us who just love everyone but don't wanna limit themselves to the possibility of learning more from differant types of people should never feel like a black sheep.
Just do what you please and talk to whom you choose, I'm sure theres someone you can relate to where you live. If not then continue being yourself and somehow a hippie will always find another hippie.

yey! me too! I live in a teeny tiny lil village in Norfolk full of old christians.
Im the only hippie at my school too! It sucks! The only good thing bout school is free internet access so I can go on hippie websites and talk to groovy people like you! yey! Im in a geography lesson. OH THE BOREDOM!!!!!!! |

Well just wait till college and then you'll meet lots of hippies! What state do you live in? I'm in the middle of no where. There always seems to be hippies some where. |

i live in a small town.....in kentucky. you all don't know what a small town is until you come here! we've got republicans, historic buildings, and tobacco. thats about it. there are NO hippies here and if there are, they don't know they are one. theres an even smaller town about 30 minutes away from me called bloomfield. they only have one stop light and a piggly wiggly's. shew, sorry. i started ranting.... |

yeah I live in a town called battle ground in washington, but also I'm a hop,skip and a jump away from portland oregon, so I guess you have worse than me peregrine.peace |

portland, huh. i've got a friend that moved to portland because my backwards town was getting to her. she was an english teacher (one of the best) but she was too big for this place. had to get out. that was two years ago. haven't seen her since. i miss her so much. she's emailed me a couple of times and said that she liked it up there. the last i heard, she got a job teaching. which i'm glad of because when she left, this town had almost pushed her out of teaching completely and that would have been a great loss. i know it would be crazy for me to think that you might know her, i'm afraid i'll never see her again.
