I went camping last weekend and tried this granola recipe that turned out pretty good. Next time I make it though, I'll add some extra stuff like cinnamon or vanilla.
mix together:
2 cups rolled oats
slivered almonds (or chopped peanuts)
seasame seeds
sunflower seeds
coconutin a separate bowl mix:
1/3 cup veg. oil
1/2 cup honey
mix dry mixture and oil/honey mixture together. bake on greased sheet at 400 for 25-30 minutes or until browned. Transfer immediately to foil, cool and break into clumps.
After it cooled I mixed in raisins.
My batch turned out a little sticky, but I may have under cooked it a little, in any case it was good and made really good cearal. Hope you enjoy!
