I am a rookie vegetarian and and not the best cook, so I decided it would be a good idea to get some omega 3,6,9 pills to make sure I'm getting what fish won't give me anymore. But I just read the back (and I really should have figured this out on my own) that they contain "cold-pressed oils of deep water fish". What should I do? |

Those aren't vitamins; those are fats. As stated by dmt, hemp seed is one of nature's best balanced foods for polyunsaturated fat ratios. However, the rest of your diet will probably be too high in omega 6; therefore, you might want to try adding extra flax seed products. |

Hi there, most of the vitamins/supplements that are sold in the health food stores, groceries are NOT vegetarian. It is beyond looking for vegetarian capsules or avoiding gelatin capsules. There are so many ingredients that are derived from animal products or byproducts. I'd www.vegetarianvitamin.com since they have OMEGA-3 from algae oil and Flax oil. All the vitamins they sell are also vegetarian suitable. Regards, Ozgur |
