I know all you dirty hippies like patchouli, so what's your favorite brand or blend?

oh Ive tried them all and I found my fav, of course I cant freakin remember right now and its at home, Ill tell ya tommorow!!

they wont let me wear it at work and if anyone gets in my car they says it smells but I dont smell it. sometimes I forget and wear it to work or a shirt from the day before and its got it on it, its amusing, dirty smelly hippies.

I actually cant stand most strong smells, they go up your nose and stay there like when I pass a women with massive amounts of perfume I hate it yuck, but I like patchouli and its very strong, kinda smells like earth to me though.

I used to wear the oil you buy in little viles from the body shop, and then I had a baby and she was a stinky nose critic...

and so "good-bye" to patchouli and "hello" to plain old burts bees, fragrance free, sensitive skin soap.

But on another completely stereotypical generic hippie note, she doesn't mind if I burn nog champa... so I got to keep my hippie-club-card.

this kind I found the also have a patchouli/vanilla oil and it smells great.
and its not so strong. alittle goes a LONG way with any patchouli!!

i don't like pachouli never have but neither does my mom so thats probably why and she's the equivelent of hippie at least thats what people label her as when they dont know her oh aren't labels great

I use Wildberry's Patchoulie. I love patchoulie, Mr. Red can't stand it. It's funny, right now we are selling Nag Champa at work, so the whole place smells good. I have been tempted to burn some there, but the one lady I work with would have a fit. I bet the customers would love to walk into the gas station where we are jammin' on The Doors and burning incense. :D

I used to work at a gas station in the middle of the night; I'd always be blasting Dead or Bob Marley or something, and smoking herb in the booth. That was a pretty good job. :bandit:

the kind of patchouli I love and wear is Pure Vida, good stuff, homemade I bought it at the grassroots festival, good soaps too.

I used to deliver newspapers and magazines to some gas station and you just described one delivery that I loved, I actually hooked up with the guy working there who always listened to the dead and smoked with me everytime I delivered when he was working, good times, I was young and so care free!! still am kinda!!
I delivered in the middle of the night so there was never any one around either!! ;)

did you have any encounters like that when you were a gas staion guy?? how funny would that be, Eric is that you??? just kidding!!!

PLEASE come work with me. Well, not that I should smoke herb in the gas station (trust me, not a good thing for ME to do while I am at work...I tend to stand in the beer cooler for EVER, knowing I am freezing my arse off, but not really feeling it? Which is strange, because normally for me, exposure to the cold would kill my buzz). And hey, not to mention the access to ALL of the munchies.

I used to wear patchouli, the stuff in the little viles, they sold it at the bead shop in town. If you like that kinda scent try Burts bees Bay Rum, it has a little in it but not too much so its not overpowering. Right now I use plain old Bay Rum, good smell!!!

I personally love the way patchouli smells, but my friends and family all hate it, so I don't usually wear it. To me it smells like being carefree.

I once accidentally spilled an entire bottle of patchouli in my Mom's house and you could smell it for ages. My Mom kept complaining that her house smelled like hippies. It did, but I think thats a good thing ;)

Burts Bee's is very nice, I love lots of there products esp the lip balm!!

I have spilled "vials" of patchouli on several occasions and boy oh boy was it potent for awhile!!!

I have never really been a fan of patchouli, a little is ok. I went into this local artsy store once and tried a bunch of organic lotions out, and I went home and loved the way I smelled, so I went back and figured it was the patchouli, so I bought it, and come to find out it wasn't that one, and now I have a whole bottle of it still and I can't wear it cause it's too strong! I used to wear the stuff in the vials, but having babies must have changes my skin cuz now I have a wierd reaction to it. I really like sun dog hemp oil lotion thats patchouli scented, but they got bought by dr. bronners. I hope they'll still carry the lotion cuz I'm on my last bottle.

For those that don't like how strong patchouli smells, try auric blends patchouli amber. It still smells like patchouli, but the amber really softens it. I love it.

i got sent out of a lesson because i was making the room smell like 'dirty hippies' how silly is that?!
the teacher said he didn't like the smell so i told him that i didn't like his aftershave and wandered off to talk to the trees......
