Crazy news, huh?

Only thing that makes me skeptic is that malaria is a parasite, not a virus, which the report states several times.

here it is again.

and here is the news report: (notice the use of "virus" applied to malaria in the report. it's a parasite!)

Cambodian Troops Quarantine Quan'sul

Cambodian troops moved into Quan'sul after Malaria victims attack populace.

There has been a small outbreak of “zombism” in a small town near the border of Laos in North-Eastern Cambodia.

The culprit was discovered to be mosquitoes native to that region carrying a new strain of Malaria which thus far has a 100 percent mortality rating killing victims in fewer than 2 days.

After death, this virus is able to restart the heart of it’s victim for up to two hours after the initial demise of the person where the individual behaves in extremely violent ways from what is believe to be a combination of brain damage and a chemical released into blood during “resurrection.”

Cambodian officials say that the outbreak has been contained and the public has no need to worry.

General Ary Serey had this to say, "We have obtained samples of this new virus and plan to learn how it starts the heart and other major organs of the deceased. We intend to use this to increase the quality of life for all."

US Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice opposed the plan saying that the Cambodian government holds a great biological weapon and should destroy it immediately. Cambodian officials have yet to comment.

A United Nations team will be dispatched to Cambodia to confirm the safety of biological research in Cambodia.

Oh god... this is like from a book I read...

Oh yeah! Has anybody here read Sahara by Clive Cussler? It's now a friggin' movie, which probably ruined the book, but I won't say that because I haven't seen it...

It's about a bacteria or virus, or parasite or something that gets into a North African water supply. The people who drink it, their flesh turns darker, and their pupils go white or something, and they literally eat a tour group passing through the town...
I guess they could be kind of considered undead, except they're alive.

However, if undead ever come to Yarmouth, Maine, they better be prepared to take out my Lvl. 16 Arcane Archer... who has a +6 bonus against undead!

WTF, mate? I searched BBC news, and they don't have any record of any news story with Quan'sul in the text. I also just cut the URL to the number part, and I think I've been duped. If this were part of BBC, it would have the basic http://news.bbc.co.uk/ url. You seemed to point out a flaw, so you probably didn't make this. Where'd you get this website?

Additional flaws ~

You spotted the virus thing. Kudos :)
Viruses are incapable of doing what this article says they do. Viruses can only inject their own DNA/RNA, and rupture cells through the lytic cycle.

Printable page link leads to article on BBC about Syrian troops evacuating Lebanese HQ.

...the Cambodian government holds a great biological weapon and should destroy it immediately.Even if a virus were involved, a virus is not biological. A virus is not a living thing.

...extremely violent ways from what is believe to be a combination of brain damage... Believed, not believe. BBC would not make this mistake.

The side links are related to the article about Lebanese government, rather than zombies.
Also, if you click any links on the page supposedly 'related' to the article, the region changes to middle east, rather than South Asia.

...thus far has a 100 percent mortality rating killing victims...A mortality rate, not rating, is based on the 100 percent scale.

Meanwhile, whoever made this is very skilled. That was probably the best reproduction of a BBC article I've ever seen.
