plastic egg cartons... poke a hole in the bottom... put some soil and seeds in each of the crannies... wa la!!
the cover of the carton makes for a good greenhouse effect too!

Great idea, I ran out of those pods and still have seeds that need to be started.
Thanks!!

This made me have a wonderment...I wonder if you could actually use the eggshells, themselves, as seedling planters???? I bet the calcium would be awesome for neutral/lime loving plants....

I've heard of that being done. Just wash them out first and poke a little hole in the bottom for drainage.

Hey, wait, no, I need those egg cartons! I'm soon to be up to my eyeballs in eggs, lol.

Peace

Maybe you could start selling home-made quiches??? Yumm...I'd buy a home made Quiche Lorraine from ya...

I've been usin those peat ones. They aren't worth the money in my opinion. But then again I say that because none of my seeds have germinated. Next time I'm just going to thrown them in the ground.

I use the pods, they have worked well for me I put them in something that closes and you can see through, like a green house and away they go!!

The one i bought has the clear top for the greenhouse effect... it must my seeds. Maybe they are too old. I wonder if I can still try to grow some.
