I could use a really good organic gardening reference book. I may be looking for something that doesn't exist. What I would like to have is pictures of the plants (fruit, vegetable, and herbs), pictures of common pests and diseases, organic ways of treatment as well as tips on plant food, companion planting, and uses of herbs. I may be asking way too much of one book, but any suggestions would be welcome.

I have the perfect book for you!! I got it at a Walden Books store, in the bargain section. It has the pictures and lists that you have requested. The book is called, " the organic garden" by Christine and Michael Lavelle, it was published by, Hermes House. Its a great book. I use it all the time. It even has a section all about harvesting and even a section on when to plant througout the growing season, definatly a good find. Good Luck!!
