So I have been thinking about all the chemicals we use to clean our body. Then I thought about how much more it is to by the organic stuff. So i was wondering if anyone knew of household products that work and shampoo or soap. Like using baking soda as toothpaste,

I thought hippieskier was posting about like, personal care soaps and stuff as opposed to cleansers.
Exfoliating scrub..mix salt with oil and use it to exfoliate feet, knees, elbows.

well my goodness I was just messing with toman I wanted to hear his smart ass remark, so RELAX!! I know what he means though sometimes people post replies and you can tell they havent even read all the other replies or start a thread when they just need to read, but it is all good!!
The other thread is household cleaning products, and this one is body cleaning products, equally important.
So sorry for saying that I was just pokin fun at the local smartass!!!!

i buy this stuff called dr. bronners cleaner. it is used for many things. i use it for my body wash and a cleaner for countertops. it lasts really long too. i got a bottle for 6.50 on sale and i still havent used it up, it has been 6 or 7 months! you need to dilute it, this way it lasts longer anyway.
as far as shampoo and conditioner i would rather pay the extra $ for the quality of the stuff.
website for dr.bronners- http://www.drbronner.com/main.html
the website is kinda freaky i think, but i realy enjoy the stuff. smells great and works good on counters. i dont recomend toothpaste or shampoo from it tho.
hope that helps
peace and love
