I am such a lightweight!

I'm finding lately it only takes me one or at the most two hits to get pretty messed up.

It actually sort of sucks because I like just getting a little 'edge' but...instead I get all stonered. It really hit home when a friend and I were having some...he hasn't ever really had any weed.

Two hits and I was SO smashed. Four hits...only got him, he said, about as relaxed as one beer would have him.

I was kind of disappointed that he couldn't enjoy it like I was...

Any other lightweights out there? How do you deal, in a group of people who aren't lightweights? Do you just wait till after they've had several hits, to take yours?

It's intimidating to me to try, being stoned off my butt, talking to somebody that I know isn't really there yet. :o

To me it depends a lot on the weed. I've had some that takes me 6-8 hits to get stoned, and I've had some (more recently) that only takes about 2-3 for me to be smashed. Most of the people I hang around seem to have about the same tolerance as me, although they'll keep going after they're stoned off their ass and I'll usually quit. It is kinda awkward when the people around you aren't at the same level though. I'll be staring off in a corner or talking about something and they can't figure out what's wrong with me, lol. If there are lightweights around me, I just try to smoke more to catch up :p

it seems to me like when I haven't smoked much for a while (like say at least a couple weeks) it takes a lot more and doesn't have much effect. When I puff everyday, a few hits gets me going nicely and anything past that is just a bonus. But that's not to say I can't suck it down; I've been known to polish off a twenty sack between a friend and me...

Salvia is a *powerful* psychedelic. You probably shouldn't do it as your "first" hallucinagin... It won't make you retarded, either. Please stay away from Salvia.

For me, it generally depends on the THC percentage and the cannabinoid profile of the strain I've been smoking recently... I build up tolerance to a particular profile fairly quickly - it's usually a couple days before I start getting immune... but then when I switch up to a drastically different profile, of course, I'm much more of a "light weight" :). And we all know that is better for us.

ChronicSmoker241 if you think smoking an ounce or two at a time by yourself means you're smoking chronic, you are sadly mistaken. That is assuming by "smoke" you mean you actually consume it all. Hell, I can't even smoke an ounce [at once] of the CRAP I am getting out here [unless you call the hash I make from it at once], and I assure you it is very low in THC (2-3% max) and I am VERY experienced.... Are you sure you're even smoking marijuana? Remember, just because they call it "grass" doesn't mean you can pull it off your lawn :rolleyes: . Personally, I'd rather smoke with toman or treehugger 'cause at least they have *real* bud... Remember, it's quality, not quantity, of both the substance and the experience, and no matter how much quantity, you cannot make up for low quality, in both the substance or the experience.

My hash unfortunately I have to keep to myself until I get back to california and get back to growing... This bud is so crappy it doesn't yield as much as I might have hoped converting bud to hash (from an ounce I get just over an eigth of fine blonde hash... but the ounce is twice what it would cost to by the hash by itself in a place where hash is sold). I only make it when I get tired of not being able to get *really* high because the 2% stuff just won't take me there no matter what I do. (per yield though, I am not using the proper equipment, either, so I have probably thrown a good bit down the drain, but I've only done it twice here, first an eigth to guage how my ghetto hash would yield and then a whole ounce)

First of all my comments towards you i must admit were pretty messed up, second the bud i get is a strain that has one of the highest THC levels in exist, Lastly who gives you the right to decide who deserves astral projection, it is an ability everyone has the ability to obtain.
