Falling rain

Hiya, I'm new here, I adore gardening! I try to be organic but sometimes I find I have to use slug pellets because all my carrot and radish seedlings get eaten. Has anyone got any tips?
Peace :o

A pie plate with beer, bury it alittle so they can climb in and they wont climb out, it kills them. Or a beer can on its side with as much beer in it as you can but the pie plate works better.

Salt works, too. You can just put a ring of it around the plants they like to eat, and after they chill in it for a while you'll have dried slug carcasses. Yum! :D

How do you keep the salt from soaking into the dirt and killing your plants?
Salting the earth used to be a war technic...salt the fields so nothing can grow and doom your enemies to famine.
