Roberts has been nominated by George Bush. That should automatically throw up warning flags. This guy is no doubt part of the machine that has taken political control in this country. Take the abortion issue off the table and let's see what we have. A powerful executive branch of government, big business, "strict constructionist" (whatever the fuck that means!!) shill. And young, by Supreme Court standards. I'm afraid that until the one issue voters (guns, abortion, lower taxes) wake up and see that they are being used by the corporate power elite......AND....the Democrats break allegiance to this same power structure, we are in for some ugly times--at least at the socio-political level

Well, I have come to the decision that if the nominee turns out the way I'm expecting him to, it cinches my decision to get my tubes tied. It's too bad I have to make that choice. I should send Bush the bill.
