Hehe, green as in powered by alternative souces besides oil/gas, like corn oil, hemp...this petition is for research to be done on it more.

-Seven in ten people say that investing in cleaner and more efficient fuels and technology will make a big difference for the environment.

Eight in ten say that the most effective way to deal with U.S. oil dependence is to conserve energy by using less and by developing new energy efficient technologies.

hybrid gas electric automobile, what an striking new idea, not.

the following were featured in Mechanix Illustrated magazine circa 1980. the original developers of these vehicles were an Arizona outfit called Quincey-Lynn Enterprises.

Trimuter accepts either battery-electric or ICE power.

Town Car is a series hybrid-electric vehicle.

Urba Electric was the test bed for proving out the CVT speed control system for EVs.

UrbaCar tops 60 mph and delivers 55 mpg fuel economy.

UrbaTrike cruises at 55 mph and runs 50 miles on its eight 6-volt golf car batteries.

GM is promoting their hydrogen cars.
they won't be available to the general public for, at least, eight years.
these vehicles will cost $40,000.00 or more.
and, of course, readily refilled at your local..???...

yes lets all use poisonous gases to run our cars... not as if liquid gasoline was bad enough but now we have the option of killing ourselves with hydrogen gas which we cannot see...... smart, car developing people, very smart,,...! " yaaaaaaaaaayyy!!!! now you try!" lol

lets face it, we all want the same thing.. drive cars that are better for the environment... this will ultimately.. what?... save the earth? postpone armaggedon?.. dingdingding! listen when God's ready for us to come to papa.. it aint gonna matter how much we saved the earth cause when the Lord calls guess what... you got a little headset on with auto pickup. direct link. so when He calls you must answer........ and another thing when thos horses ride through they are not gonna stop the sword for those who wore hemp shirts and walked everywhere, made their own clothing, ate wilted organic lettuce and wore makeup that wasn't tested on bunnie rabbits..... saving the eartyh is not gonna put off the end of the world by a fraction of a second..... God's perfect timing will come above that of all others.. this is my little rant and God forgive me for my pride and anger....... thank you

the main thing in ceramics, aka pottery, is the clay.
it needs to be 'worked', kneading it until it has a uniform consistency like bread dough.

once that has been accomplished, procede to make your plate, pot (vase), bowl or whatever by shaping it by any method you want to try. there are several.

and as in all things artistic(and life), practice, practice, practice.

check with your arts teacher, they have the knowledge and experience.
plus, they won't laugh (out loud) when your large serving bowl becomes, in stages, a smaller side serving bowl, a cereal bowl, then a large coffee mug as did one of my projects on the potter's wheel.:o

i found working with clay relaxing, like meditation.

oh my god, man, shut up. Really, I'm not trying to be mean, but it seems like you have a one track mind... you're the only one I know that can find a link between hydrogen cars and armageddon. Your posts make me cringe. I have a feeling shoving god down other people's throats isn't going to win you any friends, or help you get your point across, which seems to be to convert as many people as you can, which (correct me if I'm wrong) doesn't seem to be wanted around here. Discuss your religion when the topic comes up, sure, but making it the point of every single one of your posts and bringing it into every thread, no matter what the subject... it just gets old (and annoying).

But this is just how I feel, other people could feel completely differently...
