now i remember why i don't come here often. it just gets a little too hateful for me. maybe it's just me, but even if i had a problem with someone, i would keep it to myself. i would make an honest attempt to keep something sacred. but it's obvious that there are a portion of people on this board that are lying to themselves by saying that they are a hippy. i came to this board in hopes of finding a place to get away from the hatred i see in the world everyday. i came here in search of other people that believed that everyone in the world deserves to feel special and loved for even just a few moments. EVERYONE deserves to be treated right.

sorry. i get a little upset about that kind of stuff. i guess i have overly utopian ideas. i know how it feels. i have been treated badly my whole life. by a list of people a mile long who will never even know the effect their unkind words had on me. but i will always remember.

i came to this board in hopes of finding a place to get away from the hatred i see in the world everyday. i came here in search of other people that believed that everyone in the world deserves to feel special and loved for even just a few moments. EVERYONE deserves to be treated right.
That's exactly why I came here as well, and even though this place isn't as peaceful as I'd like it to be, the people here do tend to be more intelligent and more willing to listen than many other people i've encountered in life, and that's always a good thing :) Even though there's arguments sometimes, mostly they turn into a debate in which everyone learns something, which is more than I can say for most of the people who I know here in Vero... when you try to make a valid point, or explain your opinion, the popular thing to say tends to be 'well, I had sex with your mom last night so shut the fuck up'. So this place is a welcome reprieve from all of that nonsense :D

I cam in here looking for some people to converse with that shared something in common, It was good for a while but it died out, trolls took over and shut it down. I was hoping for better, but the site lost it's vibe. I think with views and expressions of hippies being from one end of the spectrum to the other, what do we have in common to talk about? take away everything in common to talk about and all thats left is opposing view points. Go to a vw forum, everyone pretty well owns a vw. Same with is300.net. pretty soon this will be the friends of delta9 and kermit website. Anyone know of a good hippie message board?
