FYI

You are missing the train for the one in Crawford right now.
And don't worry, not all of us Texans are bad, just the ones missing the teef.

War protesting just shows other people you're angry and have nothing else to do with your time.

Do us all a favor and go have tea and crumpets with George Bush.

War protesting is a peaceful way to show you disagree and are not happy with the current goings-on of our nation, and in fact people take time out of their schedules to go up to D.C. and show support for what they believe in, instead of sitting at home and letting whatever's happening, happen. Don't you believe in anything you'd be willing to stand up for? It's the same deal, man.

All that stuff goin on down in Texas is just terrible. This woman is using the names of dead soldiers who belived in this war and would never want to be used for such a terrible display of one woman craving attention. I know many men who have died in this war and none of them would want their names on those crosses and all those touching pictures are staged so terribly if you see the full picture you can see a few more than a dozen people standing behind them with huge mics. On the lighter happier side of this my first Marching Band Competition is on September 24th and the detroit red wings pre season starts around there.

Come on man you said it yourself to each his own and I know there are other opinions besides my own and I respect that. But why the personal insults. Everythings fine when all agree but the second a condesending opinion is presented you have to jump all over the person on a personal level.

Cindy Sheehan is not craving attention. She just wants to make sure that no other mother has to go through what she is going through right now. She lost her son to a senseless war, and she is grieving. If helping make people more aware of what is going on, more power to her.

And I don't think IRATE hippie was jumping all over you. He's simply saying you don't have the Deadhead philosophy, and he's right.

I do agree that I dont seem to have the deadhead mentality and I never really liked that name but i couldnt think of anything else and I was listening tho them when I made it so yea Ill be changing it once my new one gets activated to Skankin Buddha. But how exactly is she helping other mothers I only ask because I know what was originally going on with her but i stopped paying attention to the world of news shortly after she started. Oh and sorry for my rudeness.

Cindy Sheehan is helping other mothers by trying to get some answers about why their sons and daughters are fighting and dying overseas. She's angry, hurting, and confused about why her son had to die. She wants answers, and finding these answers may bring her the closure she needs to heal. She is doing her best to make sure that other mothers don't have to do what she is doing. Get it?

Yeah, my heart really goes out to all those poor, dead soldiers. I mean, fuck all the women and children and families they killed over there in Iraq, they don't matter... Now midwest Jimmy isn't going to get his hard earned trophy wife and 2.5 kids! All because some godless sand nigger thought it was bullshit that some Americans were blowing his country to pieces! Such proud, honorable men... They'll be dearly missed.

Say you got killed in some attack say 911 for now since it was the big one would you have wanted somebody to use your name on a little cross as a reason to go to war? As far as the killing of innocent women and children I dont know Ive never been there, but I do know that these soldiers are not nearly as evil and brutal as many including yourself make them sound.

A life lost is a life lost, regardless of whose it is, and being killed in a war that never needed to happen isn't the way his mother wanted him to go, I'm sure. Just because he was over there in Iraq doesn't mean that his death is any less tragic to his mother. And just because we care about our soldiers dying doesn't mean we care any less about the innocent civilians over there that are being killed needlessly as well. Every death in the Iraq war was a needless one and so every one is just as tragic as another, in my opinion. Lighten up a little bit, Toman, these mothers are grieving and they have every right to, whether their sons were American and fighting a war they didn't believe in or not.

I didnt go to the protest this time around (I am in the middle of moving and this is my first free weekend to get things done). But I didnt see one thing on TV about the protest. That is a shame, I thought they would put it on CSPAN at least like they usually do. All I saw was stuff about Rita and that was it.
