Anyone make home made pickles?

I'd like to give it a shot, if they come out decently. Otherwise I'll stick to buying them... :D

Well making pickles, canning them is quite an ordeal a whole day process. i love them though!!
I have a great recipe for pickles you just soak in the fridge for a few days.
If you like horeradish??

Here it is

1- jar horseradish or less depending on if you like hot or not.
5-cups cold wtr
2- cups vinager
1/2 cup mustard powder
1/2 cup salt
1/2 cup sugar
cucumbers cut length wise, 1/4's
let soak in brine, mixing up once in awhile for 4-5 days. You can keep brine and just keep adding cuc's for a long time, you'll know when you need to make a new batch when the flavor fades.

Ok so that was from mememory so dont make it till I ck the recipe when I get home tonight, I think its pretty close but it may be 1 cup amounts instead of 1/2 cups.

You can add garlic or peppers to it too.

They look gross too, well the brine does but they taste damn good!!
