If you notice, his and mine don't say "attached image". We've got our pictures hosted on our own webspace :). You use the [ img ] [ /img ] tags to link to images off-site.

Glad to see some of your pictures, and BandAide, you are indeed aging quite well :). Nappydreads, I only hope my dreads can rock as much as yours some day ^_^. Cowboyhippie, remember, no heavy machinery under the influence! o_O Peace_Frog slightly reminds me of some celebrity.... Can't place my finger on it... Oh well :)

A lot of free webhosts don't allow off-site image linking, geocities is one of them, I believe. You'll probably have to shop around before finding a good FREE solution that lets you link to images, but your ISP's provided webspace SHOULD allow you to do so. If your ISP doesn't give you webspace, it's a crap ISP (do you even have an EMAIL address :o ).

Well, I did research at dreadheadhq and other places on my own and they all mentioned shrinkage. I'm more "worried" about how in the early stages they don't "agree with gravity" :D. You know what I mean :p. I just want to try and go for mostly-shoulder-length-dreads and I need a bit more length in some places to ensure that :).

But on topic, yes, I too would like to see box turtle pics. I mean, it's part of the "family" now :P.

And last but not least here I am! I have been shedding pounds like nuts from breastfeeding and exercise so I don't think this picture looks like me because I am still swollen from having the baby..he is around 8 weeks in this photo! Also I cut off all my lovely dreadies in a hormone induced fit :( when I was pregnant so now I am struggling to grow out my hair again and start the long process of dreading all over again!

Okay, so not to be creepy in a single-white-female sorta way here, but I too cut off my dreads in a hormone induced fit during my pregnancy. My hair was less than an inch long. I did it at three months pregnant. Now, my daughter is almost ten months and my hair is shoulder length again.

Also, I dont' think you look too swollen in that photo. But, I gained 73 pounds in my pregnancy. :eek:

It's all gone now...just in time to gain it all again! :)

BandAide I gained 70 pounds with my last one which was better than the 80 with my daughter!
I totally bawled after I chopped off my dreads..I looked like a porquipine! I thought I needed to act more grown up with a new baby on the way...it was just so silly :o Don't worry i don't think you are being to SWF at all...I think these are just common experiances we share as women :)

Believe me, I've seen a lot of beautiful people who, once you get to know them, start lookin' REALLY ugly. These people are the mean girls, the ones who believe they're god's gift to the world. And believe me, sweetheart, you're far from that! :)

One exercise you can do is look into a mirror and say outloud 3x's "I'm perfect b/c god created me" or "I'm beautiful b/c I'm me." I like the second one more b/c I'm a new Buddhist & anti-theism at the moment. That's something I've read in a lot of literature for eating disorders, personality disorders, mood disorders, etc. Good luck!

It breaks my heart to read the way you feel about yourself.

First, you are not ugly, you are lovely.

Secondly, what if you were ugly? Should ugly people feel badly about themselves? Certainly, there are some truly unfortunate looking people out there, I see them all the time. Certainly, these people have inner beauty, hopes, dreams, will, desire, activism, family, love and a story to share. Should they feel badly about themselves because they aren't pretty? I don't really think so. As a matter of fact, I think that they should feel beautiful. I think they should wear pretty under-roos and paint their toe nails pink (not the boys, the boys should paint their toe nails red) and walk around feeling like a super model.

And though you aren't ugly, you are very attractive, I want you to do the same.

Seriously, work on your concept of beauty.

As a teenager, it's tough, I know. I even vaguely remember. But, it'll get better and you've got to believe in your own sexy little sass ball living inside you. It'll kill your spirit if you don't.

I didn't really care for Dublin to be honest... but, then again I'm not really a big city kind of guy. I really loved the small villages... we actually got engaged while we were there, in Goleen, West County Cork. We haven't made it to Wexford yet. You've gotten me really excited to go back now!!

She's great, actually! I mean... soooooooooooooooooooo much fun! How are you guys doing? Every once in awile I'd see something new in your livejournal, and then I stopped going to that site.

Rosie is way ahead of the game, huh? The dr. couldn't believe that Bunny was talking and almost walking at her 9 month well visit. She has said her first word in context, which is "ought oh" and within days about five more words followed. She likes to say "pretty" when she touches people's faces (so cute.)

She isn't walking yet, but she's started picking herself up and getting her balance, so it's just a matter of time now.

Oh, Big News Autumn, Jay and I are having another baby! I'm due in August. So, Bunny is going to have a little brother or sister who is a year and a half younger. How is your Jay?

Honestly, I think they'd rock as well. Every red headed person I've seen with dreads has looked smashing.

If you don't like it, you can always just cut them out.

Your hair is beautiful. It would be beautiful long, short, knotted or free!

How were you thinking about doing it?

I know a lot of people put them in by backcombing, but for me, I just washed my hair with cheap shampoo twice a day, didn't use conditioner, stopped brushing and vwah lah. Before long I had a head full of dreads. I had to help some along. Some were fat and some were flat and some were skinny. My hair shrunk to about half its size and stuck out everywhere (as you can see) but when I'd put a kerchief on my head they' sit a little more serenely and sometiems I'd pin them away from my face and they'd be like a crown of porcupine needles.

I really miss them.

My hair is shoulder length now, once I get a few more inches, I'll let it all knot back up.l

I cut them out when I was pregnant & hormonal!

Yeah, I'd probably just let them knot up on their own... cept I'll probably have to help the under part of my hair cause it's really soft... but the top knots itself when I go to bed after just shampooing and roll around... I'll probably do it in april.. March we're going to England to "Meet the Parents" and their kind of.. uhm... English.. and.. uhm.. older.. so... I'll wait till after that. The reason I want them is cause I just want to never touch my hair again. I straighten it sometimes.. but that takes too long.. I let it go and birds come to try and next in it.. and so I usually end up knotting it atop my bean anyway... but I think dreads would be funner and more me... Yay! Thanks for the feedback!! Time to head down to the pub... :)

About two years ago I was scared of little children, I was afraid I might break them or something (I'm a big guy) but a great gal made me see that children are wonderful. May I also add that she made me spend a couple hours each day with her nieces (ages 2 and 7) and after a couple of months I was able to interact with them. At first I felt :bawl: around children now I feel :D.

They are such a joy to be around with...when they are in a good mood. :p

Here's my tat, I got it almost 7 years ago on my 18th birthday and this year I am having it completed as a half-sleeve with an Asian mountain background and a poem/scroll wrap at the bottom as a border. There is also one in the small of my back but its a bit harder to scan. :D

Whata great location for a tat. :D Getting a tat on the other side would be cool, but you have to get a background that has manly colors...in my mind it looks good, others have pawprints near the area, you have chinese characters. :) Or when you get a boyfriend have him get a that that says "male".
