Seriously! How many times do I have to listen to Bush trumpet out his ass about how much aid money he's given anyone? And then grin and snicker about it? In todays world $350 Million is a drop inthe bucket! $200 Billion to kill Iraqies, $350 million to rebuild resorts for americans in Thailand while the people who actually live there swim in rotting corpses.

I do think visiting their resorts and putting money into the economy will help somewhat. But from everything I've seen, the vast majority of the money that has gone over there has been to rebuild resorts and the tourism industry, not help the people who actually live there. The coastal tourism industry in Thailand is virtually unchanged from what it was three weeks ago, with Americans lounging on the beaches, swimming, getting massages, while just miles away people are dying in droves, with entire villages infested with disease because they can't get rid of the bloated, rotting corpses fast enough. So I don't really have that much of a problem with people supporting resorts, I just have a problem with where all that money has gone. That and the fact that the amount of money our county has given is a joke, but then the amount of aid America provides in general is absurd; last I checked, per capita we are the lowest contributing country in the world when it comes to aid. I mean really, last year we gave 1.4 billion dollars. Road repair projects in large cities cost that much. The country is going into debt by the trillions. Bill Gates alone could provide multiples of that. And all the while Bush struts around like some kind of world class pimp, snickering from his podium about we're supposed to be some kind of amazing, generous country. Bah.

THE ONLY WAY TO GET $ OUT OF OUR GOVERMENT IS IF THERE IS SOMETHING IN IT FOR THEM, THE WAR IN IRAQ, OH OK THEY ARE DOING IT FOR THE IRAQI'S FREEDOM, I DOUBT IT. OIL=GREED=BUSH/CHENEY!! to anyone that could sit there ass on a beach while people are sufering that much, all I have to say is EVERYTHING comes back around I really beleive that. that is mind blowing to me, lets go swimming get trashed and vacation while people are mourning there children, homes families and whole lives those are some sick individuals!!

When I didn't live in america I knew people didn't like america. I didn't know why, tho.

Then I moved to america and suddenly there were flags and patriotism being shoved down my throat. They were frantically, sort of fanatically, telling me how great america was. But all they said was that it was great. No one said what was great about it.

I noticed many of the americans seemed to go by what the commercials and tv shows and movies told them. I had never seen commercials before and was shocked at the lies they told. I knew Ajax did not blast out stains like a knight on a horse. I'd used it plenty of times.

I wondered if people were uptight because the Ajax was not working the way the commercials (thier god) promised.

I got beat up several times for having an accent.

It was scary and I was only 9 years old.
