Maui Pictures!!

Well, I went to Maui in October and I finally got the pics up in January. They can be seen here: http://www.solisearch.net/ims/album.php?u_id=31381pIiG7

The trip was excellent. We stayed at the Maui Lu Resort in Kahului. We went on a dinner cruise, took a submarine ride and spent a day each in a few other towns around the island. Renting a car made it really easy to explore the place ourselves, which was awesome. I'd have to say it was probably the best vacation i've ever taken in my entire life. It's absolutely gorgeous there which makes it so easy to relax. The near-perfect weather helps too :)

Hey great pics!

I have a pair of mugs from the Maui Resort. I picked them up at this little junk shop out in the desert.

Of course I didn't fly with anything on the way there, and in all honesty, just being in Maui was enough for me. I didn't expect to come across anything, but my boyfriend scored when he went to pick up dinner a day or two after we got there. He just flagged down a couple of skaters and they hooked him up. They also showed him a spot he could go almost every afternoon to get some if needed where they serve meals to surfers. It really was a great vacation. The people and the entire 'island' attitude is so laid back. It's a nice change of pace coming from the mainland where everyone is always in such a hurry. I have lots more pictures, 3 rolls of film and one disposable camera that need to be developed. After I get that done, I'll post some of the best ones so anyone who wants can see more.
