... In my village we have a recycling scheme in place where we are provided with two bins. One for recycling and one not.
The thing is that the recycling bin says on the stickerthingeeblob that they cant accept tissue paper or thin plastics.
I feel really bad putting this sort of thing in the 'normal' bin! It seems such a waste! does anyone know of anywhere I could go with this sort of stuff to recycle it?

At least in the US, most places have recycling centers that can take more things than your standard curbside service. Try looking in your phonebook; they usually have a hotline you can call, and a person will tell you exactly what they can and can't take, as well as the closest drop off to where you live. You'll probably want to just start sorting stuff and saving it up until you have enough to take in a truckload or something, otherwise it'd be pretty inconvenient, but a lot of those things that seem like they should be recyclable that the curbside jerks won't take really are; they just don't find it profitable or practical to do so most of it ends up sitting in a landfill.

I have to take mine once a month because the garbage pick up people offer no recycling program, which seems insane to me! I just save it up and the first sat of every month they recycle at a near by dump and its free.

Whats up Toman!!!! Long time no see :)
