My toilet overflowed a few ours ago.... and I didn't have a plunger to unclog it. I had to wait for my mother to come here with a plunger and rescue my ass. I've been living here for 3 1/2 months already and we had forgotten to buy something as obvious as a toilet plunger. Just a note for anyone that plans on moving in the near future: don't forget the simple things or you end up with a big pooey mess. You'll have that though...

That would have to be the best gag gift ever... actually, my boyfriend ended up bringing one from his work on his lunch break to solve our problem. I was pretty stoked, by then I had to use the potty pretty badly.

Although the traditional plunger is good for wearing as a hat or covering the end of your trumpet, I purchased this bad boy at a local hardware store. I recall wal-mart having them.

When we build our dome, we are getting an incinolet. www.incinolet.com

Well it is off subject, but we plan on building a fiberglass dome. Yeah it sounds weird, but it's insulated and rate for tornado and hurricane force winds (and debris). Check out the other thread about this. I've read up on cinder block homes, straw bale homes and earth ships. I'd like to hear what others have looked into.
