"Pal" is a senior golden retriever/chow chow mix. When his owner of many years passed away, Pal was sent to a local shelter. He went from the comforts of his home and his owner's constant affection to spending weeks alone in a cage, scared and confused. When we met him, we instantly fell in love with him and now Pal has a warm cozy place to call home again and he couldnt be happier! Being a senior, we don't know what his fate would have been had we not recently adopted him. Unfortunately, he has needed some medical and dental work and in an attempt to raise money for his treatment, we entered him in a photo contest sponsored by 1800PetMeds.

Consider it done, kid. :) You know, Pal looks just like Lady, she's seventeen years old this year. She's living at my brother's farm now because I couldn't take her to the condo.

I mean he looks EXACTLY like Lady. She's a cocker spaniel and black lab mix. I will have to try to find a pic.....

thank you!!! i think what's happening with this contest is everyone who entered their own pet is going around voting all the others a 1 to make their ratings low :( so the more 10's we can get, the better!! thanks for your help!

treehugger, i'd love to see a picture of lady.. thats weird that they look exactly alike and are completely different breed mixes, i guess a small hairy dog mixed with a big cute dog will produce similar looking kids :D pal's pushin 15 years old this year and he's got so much life in him still.. its awesome... he acts like a little puppy sometimes!
