I was so disappointed not to see any festivities taking place on earth day. Could'nt find anything local. However I did see that pRes. bUSH and gov. Arnold being herald as champions of the green movement in the paper?????WTF? George Bush champion of new eco-friendly technology? That's like some half- assed incompetent handy-man telling you ,"you need to remodel" after burning your house down. Anyone find this as outrageous as I do?

Well Bush did go to a some Hybrid car factory, or something, You cant get anymore greener then that, lol. What a JOKE!!! Like he cares soooo much about gas prices let alone the environment. The government wont step up to the plate, its up to us, if we want any kind of change.
There wasnt anything goin on here either, I planted a ton of trees over the last few weeks and have lots more to plant. But on earthday it rained and I cleaned the inside of my house which i swear will help the earth, lol.

There was lots going on here in Hippieville but I had to move...so I spent my Earth day driving a 14 foot moving van that used a dollars worth of diesel per mile... :(
So that was my sin.
My anti-sin was, I got a moped to drive to work when it's nice out. 100 MPG. Yay!
*edited to reflect that it's 100 miles per gallon, not two. :)

yeah, Bush apparently said that we should be trying to solve the "major problem of high gas prices" (not looking at the root of that problem) and look to using hydrogen as a fuel source, which researchers say may be 1-2 decades away. So, don't worry about maybe putting some restrictions on fuel economy when building cars or anything, let's just look at something that's maybe 20 years away. And global warming, polar ice caps melting, don't worry about all that, because GAS IS OVER $3 PER GALLON!!! StATE OF EMERGENCY!!!!

Yes. This just in...seeing that hydrogen is found abundantly as a natural resource and in light of the recent "attacks" in New Orleans and Florida, George Bush is declaring a "WAR ON NATURE" ;)

Haha, honestly... would anyone *really* be surprised if he did?
I think Bush is doing a little too much :cool008: and not enough :musik010: or :group_hug to go along with it.
