Does anybody collect them? Despite not wearing one for a good 6 or 7 years, I have suddenly developed an, as yet, unexplained affinity for them.

I just picked up an interesting Russian watch - the case is solid titanium reclaimed from decomissioned SS-18 rockets. That's right, those nasty noocoolar tipped ones.

Seems a fitting end - that something that once had the potential to be insanely destructive now sits on my wrist and tells me what time it is. Granted, it is the wrong time, but it's Russian - what did you expect? Note to self, never buy a Russian car.

This joins my also recently acquired Tissot and knock-off British MOD watch (in my defence, it's a damn good knock-off and I thought it genuine at the time...damn eBay).

Hey, Organosphosphate Twiglet! Nice watch, but since you're from Canada shouldn't the date be set to about 1896? Eh?

Eh, Armanic Outlet!

Heard about the three blondes who walked into a bar?

You think one of them would have seen it.

The house that my wife and I bought was once owned by a watchmaker. Pretty much a dead profession. But I do have alot of nice non-working watches that i've been looking for a new home.

I got alot of cool mid-late 70's red LED faces, I'm not sure if they work, but I've been thinking of throwing them on ebay. I had a matching pair of mens & women's led watches that where gold tone, sold them for $60.

Only LED? No vintage analog - say, Omega or Heuer?

Oh yeah, I have vintage analogs, I don't recall the names besides Timex & Elgin. I have a list somewhere, i'll look for it this weekend.
