Oh sure...they can lop off heads willy-nilly, but we employ a little strategic torture and everybody gets up-in-arms.

Bush Flatly Declares No Connection Between Saddam and al Qaeda
from the press conference, 31 Jan 2003

Offer passive resistance-wherever you may be, forestall the spread of this administration before it’s too late, before they start attacking other countries under false pretences, before the world is reduced to rubble, and Our Nation’s last young women and men have given their blood on some foreign battle field for the hubris sub-human regime that has taken over the U.S. And we must never let anyone take our government over again! Bush and Cheney on 911 interviewed behind closed doors, refused to take an oath, refused to allow tape recordings and ensured no transcript be kept but they tell us (citizens) they can spy on who ever they choose. Tell Congress to do their job as they pledged to the American people and God to do! Impeach and Indict this administration for TREASON! Remember any PEOPLE are responsible for the regime they are willing to put up with!

^ what's that got to do with torture? Other than the "torture" of laughing my ass off when Cheney shoots his hunting buddy in the face. Classic!

Torture isn't good, but religion not only has nothing to do with it, it clouds the issue. Also, I think the Spanish Inquisition and centuries of burning heretics calls their credibility into question.

you do this often. It may not be relevant in this thread, but instead of defending your ideas when people question them, all you do is bring up other ideas. That certainly doesn't win any arguments. We are all aware of the points of contention, so why not have at them instead of bringing up more points of contention. I rarely see you engage, only stick and move.

Religion has everything to do with it!
Bush: God told me to invade Iraq
08.10.05
By Rupert Cornwell
President George W. Bush has claimed God told him to invade Iraq and attack Afghanistan, as part of a divine mission to bring peace to the Middle East, security for Israel, and Palestinian independence.
The President made the assertion during his first meeting with Palestinian leaders in June 2003, according to a new BBC series.

---------------------
The religion of the future will be a cosmic religion. It should transcend personal God and avoid dogma and theology. Covering both the natural and the spiritual, it should be based on a religious sense arising from the experience of all things natural and spiritual as a meaningful unity. Buddhism answers this description. If there is any religion that could cope with modern scientific needs it would be Buddhism. ---Albert Einstein

Oh I'm all for revolution...as long as the leader of is is capable of more than regurgitation...
If I wanted a parrot/puppet...I wouldn't have such a problem with our current administration.
I say make me your leader...I have already led one rather sucessful invasion, my tactics are ruthless, and my networking skills rival Abby Hoffman's
