figure this one out

so Im hangen at this friends house, there was lots of people there, mostly woman but i didnt realy know most of them. shanian dougherty (who i do not care for) was one of them and I was telling her how we had a done reality show together she didnt remember but when i told her she says " that must be why i love you". then i made out hot and heavy with ellen degenerous but she wouldnt go any further becouse she had a boyfriend, (I know, but it was dream yaknow? ) then i go outside to put the horses out to pasture ( they where all white) but instead of a pasture it was just a yard and when they reached the end of it the disapeared like phantoms, " dont worry" says a talking horse named Shamus, "we don't know where the beast horses go but they always come back" then he hands me a nail he says is lucky and i put it in my pocket and think "annmarie could realy use that"

I have many dreams in which I go to places that are very familiar to me, but are not known in waking life. My mother had recurring dreams about a small town. She knew all of these dream people only in her dream. When the dream had not recurred for some time, then came back, her dream people asked her where she had been. She believed in parallel dimensions of reality. I'm not sure what to make of all this. Why should a place in a dream be familiar to me, evoke recognition?
