On the link you sent, there is a nice chart that shows ice age and cyclical warming, however it stops and doesn't show the last 2000 years.

if we're looking at the same chart it says at the bottom years before present and goes from 11,000 years ago up to 0 years ago.0 years would be the present.

The next time you hear of an uhealthful air quality day where it is recommended that children, elderly and people with respitory problems are urged to stay inside, I challenge you to think about your position. Think not of the messanger but the message. Our environment is in trouble. i posted the link because he and I think alike and the opinion he posted had a lot of information in it.Seems I hit a nerve there Peace Frog. Me thinks thou doest protest too much,I never said we shouldn't reduce pollutants or take care of our environment.I just think this global warming thing is a farce.Al Gore is a nut case.He and his band of globe trotting chicken littles do more damage to the environment in a year than my whole family will do in a lifetime.Not that it means anything to you but I've been eco friendly since the sixties.I make my living and feed my family off the land and understand all too well what mankind has done to mother earth.Let me ask you something.Who is funding this circus that Al is traveling with?How can he afford to make these movies and fly all over the world preaching his gloom and doom.Maybe theres a little leftwing smear tactics going on too.So yea I'm all for doing your part in reducing pollutants and saving the planet for the next generation but I'm for it because I can still think for myself not because Al yelled that the sky is falling.The earth has been warming up and cooling off long before you or I were born and will long after we are gone.Thats nature.No matter what Al Gore or Charlie Daniels think.

I hope for all our sake you're right. I don't know about the nut case thing, he seems to believe what he says. He also has science that supports his claims. I think its admirable that you work with the land and sustain your family that way. You are probably more in tune with the changing climate than I. I however don't really trust the right. And as far as Al Gore's Global Warming campaign goes, I think that the end justifies the means, if we manage to clean up the air some. ;) :D Peace to you and yours :)
