Ok so I am not a girly, girl by any means. BUT I do like to take care of my hair, I have curly hair and I just recently cut it pretty short. I went from hair down the middle of my back to hair thats level with my chin!!! Anyway the point is, I now have to use some kind of product so I dont have this huge poof ball on my head. I cant seem to find any organic hair stuff that actually works.
I dont want to keep buying it and not liking it either. Does anyone here use any hair stuff thats pretty natural and works well???

Aveda makes some good styling products - I'm thinking one of their mist or soft pomade products that help separate out the curls, and provide a little weight so the curls don't go poof.

There are a few organic hair products listed in the beauty directory, (http://www.happyhippie.com/directory/beauty.htm) but mostly sprays.
I found this one, but kinda pricey:

Sorry I couldn't be more help - maybe google some of these specific products for feedback?
Just remember, hair grows ;) Have fun w/ it.

My wife sells Arbonne products (not on the site... it would cost too much to do that). All the products they have are all natural and are great! I use the shampoo & conditioner and have noticed a reduction in split ends (not total elimination mind you). If you are interested PM me and I'll send you her email addy (don't want to post it here b/c bots like to swipe and send spam).

Yeah it may seem high, but I wash my hair (and those who know me know i have a lot) everyday, and I use 2-3 pumps and the bottles last me at least 4-6 months (I also share with JuJu).

I have a friend with REALLY curly hair and she says she uses creams, like a pomade. Aveda is a good start for natural products.

Yeah, old thread resurfacing.
So, Arbonne has decided to discontinue half of the products we use, including the shampoo and conditioner. Anyone have any shampoos I should look into? I want to stick with organic (or all natural), but I don't want to continue paying $25 a bottle ($25 for shampoo and $25 for conditioner).

See if www.vitacost.com has something you like, they sell mostly organic type products and they discount everything.

LOVE Vitacost!!! 4.99 shipping on any size purchase, and everything is so much cheaper. I buy all Kris's herbal remedies on there, the Buried treasure line of liquid vitamins is less then half the cost then in stores!
Sorry I just am a fan of Vitacost :D
I use a different shampoo everytime I run out, I get some on Etsy sometimes, some homemade stuff.

I figured I would add some advice! I've got LONG straight hair. It's down to my back side. It's the one thing I've vain about and I take extra care of it. I even go to a long hair salon in Columbus for "dusting" trims. But anyways, my husband and I have finally found a natural shampoo/conditioner we really like. It's the JASON Brand. I'll put their website at the end. We get ours at Whole Foods. We generally use the "84% Aloe Vera" shampoo and conditioner. If not then the Jojoba. We love it. It conditions my hair so well and breakage has gone down to about nothing. It's about $9.00 per bottle, but a little goes a long way. We think it's worth it! Honestly, give it a try. We've gone through so many different natural brands only to be left disappointed for one reason or another. Hope this helps!
