About 55,000 Halloween-themed pails filled with mixed candy have been voluntarily recalled by their Greenwich manufacturer because they're decorated with paint that contains excessive levels of lead, according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.

The items are labeled "Skull Pails Filled With Halloween Candy Mix" and are made by R. L. Albert & Son.

The pails were sold for $2 in retail stores nationwide since September. Consumers should return the product to the retailer where it was purchased for a refund. For more information, call Albert's at 866-796-6110.

AHHHHHHH!! I am so sick of all the recalls. Can we just have some good products at a fair price? Any more you have to pay so much money for things that should cost less, its ridiculous!

Agreed.

I think we should just close the doors to importing and make it here.

I have been trying, its hard. Christmas is going to be tough, to buy american made products or made anywhere but china is almost impossible to find and so much more money, I am ready for the challange though. Im sick of the crap we buy because its cheap.
I hope the next president has some serious thoughts on this issue. Bring it back home!!!!!
