Ok, I just have to ask, who really believes that the big bosses at Gap didn't know about the child labor issues in India? Please.... I would rather pay more for clothes that I'm sure that aren't made my beaten children, rather than saving a couple bucks on a t-shirt...

Id like to "think" they did not know, but...its hard. I mean they try and put on that image of how ethical they are and the whole red campaign. Youd think if they knew, maybe they'd cover there tracks better, thats the only reason Id give them for not knowing, cause if they knew, it wouldnt have leaked???
Sad though, that poor boy, well all the kids. I couldnt imagine selling my child, id rather starve to death, then send him to his death, sick.

I suppose for the parents who sold their children, the money was just too tempting?

I'm glad I never buy from those robot dressing stores.

I haven't yet heard of 'this boy'. Does someone have a link I could look it up on? I don't buy my clothes at Gap (cuz I guess my butt's bigger than rich, yuppy, scum) but I frequently get things for my daughter (on sale) at gap kids. I would be very interested in boycotting them altogether if said awfullness is true.

Well I was talking to my cousin about this and he said that Gap owns Hot Topic, Anchor Blue, Hollister, and Zumies, but I looked at the Gap site and I only saw Banana Republic, Old Navy, and Pipeline. But I don't know I don't shop at those stores, just Thrift stores really. But now I will be sure to check the brands on what I buy at thrift stores. I don't want to own anything that was made through child labor. :(
