Taking Kris out for tricks or treats tonight, he is going as scooby doo!! Its the cutest costume, I will post some pics tomorrow!! Its fun but, on a week night its not so fun, lil kids all sugared up. Good thing he isnt a big candy fan, he just likes to go.

Get this, there is a local dentist who is giving a buck a pound for candy. That way it encourages kids to eat less sugar. Well guess where the candy is going that he buys off the kids... "the less fortunate" WTF!? So if you are poor, dentists don't care if your teeth rot out?! What BS!

I'm going to throw together a costume... I like to scare.

Yes! I always see a few egg splats the next day. I haven't been on the receiving end of that yet..and hope I don't. It's a pain to clean up.

I volunteered at the church, a place where they really don't get me. Anyways, I was running a carnival game, we do this because we don't have sidewalks in our town and it's dangerous for the kids to trick or treat. Plus some poor folks believe Halloween to be evil. (as per dancing and the elders on the movie "Footloose") I was wearing a hemp hoodie, drawstring karate pants and rubber clogs. I was comfortable...... all evening I was asked if I was any particular Bible character. You gotta have a sense of humor to hang with certain people. Hope ya'll enjoyed the day.

I went to a craft fair today..some gal was selling hemp clothes, and I invited her to check out happyhippie.com...she said, " oh yeah, I know that site."

I felt like a rock star. Well, not really. lol

I went to a craft fair today..some gal was selling hemp clothes, and I invited her to check out happyhippie.com...she said, " oh yeah, I know that site."

I felt like a rock star. Well, not really. lolActually they call it "Halleluja night of lights" They believe themselves to be on a "Froto-esque" mission to save the shire from the evil "Children of the corn". I think it's good no one gets hit by a car...... that's about it. The Pastor said the Sunday prior," You might see children dressed as ghosts or devils but you still have to love them"?!?!? No I don't........ I'm all like, "Okay you demonic little shits, you gonna toss the bean bag in the clowns mouth or destoy us all now?" :confused: ;) I think it's awsome that you got yer 15 min of fame at the craft fair Meg..... who'd they like best? :D

My wife sings in the band. There are worse places to be so it could be worse. One of my many opportunities for development is to try to love the haters and to stand boldly in the face of ignorance and say I love you. I need to always try to see and love people where they are at. I mean to say, that’s where you are in your walk, on your road, in your development, however you wana put it. If I rebuke you and walk away who grows? No one. But if I am able to groove with say….Conservative Christian Right-brown folk killing-forest cutting- deer murdering- gross polluting sons of God (capital G) I am better for the experience and maybe grow a little inside and they get to experience my Ed-ness. The Bible says,” What good is it to only love those who love you. They think that that means loving social outcasts. I think that means loving them. You see the ones defined as outcasts are just experiencing themselves differently on a road perhaps lesser traveled. Not wrong or right, but theirs.
