Ok, here's my stab at making gifts for Christmas. Here is my first 'felted bead' necklace. The beads were trickier to make than I thought, and my hands are still raw from doing it, but overall I'm happy with it.

Say, if you can get a reply from treehugger (Kathy), she makes some great hemp necklaces and could give you a hint or two for making very ornate necklaces. That is if you don't know how (like me).

Thanks!! my daughter says the orange ones look like pumpkins. Going to try some bracelets now w/ glass beads in between. It's getting crafty over here!!

You can also make really cool beads out of Femo (sp?) clay. Its really cool you can make patterns or marbleize it. It comes in just about any color you can think of or if you cant find your desired color you can mix it and make your own color. :)
