What is recycled silk? Is it the material just cut and turned into other things or does someone actually unweave the silk threads and reweave it?

Did you know silk comes out of a silk worm's butt? :p

I love silk. Someone gave me a ton of it from an Indian friend that goes to India regularly. It was actually her old sari's. Some are over 20 feet long. Some are now a canopy over my bed :D

I've found lots of silk shirts at Goodwill stores. I think some people donate them without realizing how cool silk is.

i was searching through old threads/posts and i found yours...i checked the seller out on ebay, and i ordered a dress, a scarf, and a bag right away! you were right about her! really nice, plus she has excellent shipping costs compared to others on ebay, which i love. thanx for posting this!! im kind of an ebay junkie ;)....if you can reccommend other sellers, let me know :)
