I'm not sure what to call myself anymore. I'm not atheist because I don't nessessarily not believe in anything, and I'm not agnostic because I know i believe something,
I just don't know what to call it. I've searched all the major religions that I could come up with and nothing really fit.
any ideas?

Well you could do a quest like I did. Go to random churches to see what you like. If you want something more of an eastern philosophy, I suggest looking at India. Or you can look at old world like myself and my wife. We believe in many aspects of different religions, so we just say we are Pagan (or if the local preacher comes around to "press the flesh", I tell them we are Church of Christ).
My views are broken down to Native American / Druid / Hindu.
I won't be concerned with trying to name yourself on what religion you are, is that it's best to have a cover story for someone who you know is narrow minded.

Well it's not so much calling myself somthing it's more identifying myself with something.

Excellent! That's the way you should approach it.

I suppose pagan is a good way to go about it, it just means that you dont conform basically.
But thats still not that much to identify with, cause if you think about it, is in't everybody a pagan acording to a different religion?

You are correct on that part.

If you tend to find truths common to a multidute of different thoughts, but don't identify with one in particular or one more so that others, this may be an interesting concept to look into:

It's so refreshing to hear that :)
i'm also a hodgepodge of different religious philosophies, but i feel more spiritual than religious most of the time.

YAY! :D
I just don't worry about religion. I go about my daily routines and thank the creators for giving me a life full of friends and family. Even though they don't live anywhere near me, I might feel like I can never get ahead of the bills but with friends and family like who are in my life (including online).. I'm a rich man. :group_hug

Why pin yourself down? Religions are mainly social clubs with heavy agendas. Then you get yourself pigeon-holed and stuck in a rut. Just allow yourself to think freely, seek truth and treat other beings decently. What's the big deal? If you need a church go for a hike in the woods. Better air and no collection plates.

i am in between faiths for the most part, at least for the sake of having to put somethign on paper oficially. i believe what i want but when it comes to the church end i just found one that feels safe and comfortable, nobody looking down at me cause i'm not wearing a suit and forcing my kidlets to wear dress clothes.
the other day there was a cat dead out in the road, the boy asked, daddy whats that cat doing there
i said, kitty has gone to be with jesus now buddy
then he asked what jesus wanted a dead cat for.....

Music guy old buddy, what you need is to find people that like you, not people that are like you. ;) I tried for years to find somebody like me to hang out with. Finally discovered noone is that weird. Good thing too. I probably couldn't stand em.

You said it!
I was very picky on who I wanted to be with the rest of my life and I married a wonderful woman who shares her love for me and life and I share mine of hers (and life). Basically I found myself in female form.

^now that wouldbe perfect. but i havnt found myself in anyone ive ever met except my mother....
i find that depending on which friend im with at the time, my personality can drasticaly change, just so i fit them. its getting kinda old, having to change myself so other like me. And if I can determine what i canidentify with, i can search for others that are just like that, instead of weeding through everyone who may not necessarily get along well with meor vise versa.

Dont look, just live. Your young yet, you will change and grow and move. Just be happy with yourself at this moment and worry about finding love, when you truely love yourself.
Dont put pressure on it, its hard enough.

Well we're all separate little egos bouncing around in this particular "reality". Making contact with others lightens the load but not always easy for everyone. Maybe a life goal that's gonna take some time. Maybe you'll find fulfillment in solitude but your chart has indicators for service to others, involvement with unusual and mystical/spiritual friends and groups, an ability to communicate with the heart, spiritual feelings and disciplines, and a forceful creativity and romantic involvement so maybe you're not as separate as you might think. There's also a powerful inclination towards philosophy and possibly travel. The chart really shows a lot of possibilities as well as challenges. I'd delve into it if I were you. Remember you're very much at the beginning of your life. When I was 17...........I had so much learning ahead of me. It's a time of many questions but point yourself in the direction you want to go and surely you'll get there eventually.

Well, to tell ya the truth..I myself do not attend any church or religious services. I get my inspiration form simply walking on the nature trails. There's this really cool sounding gathering place I heard of up here in Ojai called Meditation Mountain where everyone of all beliefs is welcome and they do an innerfaith mediation and drum circle..sounds pretty cool.:) Someday I might check that out.
