Yogi bear would not approve!

47 senators have voted to allow people to bring loaded guns to Yellowstone National Park - even though there is no hunting there...

Here is the story, then create your own future headlines.

"Technically, you can drive through a national park with a firearm, as long as it's not loaded and not readily accessible in order to prevent poaching and accidental shootings."

I just don't understand how there is anything wrong with this existing law. If you really must bring a firearm along with you on a visit to a national park, you can't just keeep it in the car? What could you possibly use it for besides hunting? Bear attacks? Don't put yourself in a position to be attacked by a bear!

I approve, have always approved and will always approve the right to arm bears. It's the raccoons you have to watch out for.

I think the world would be a much happier place if all the guns and weapons went bye bye

I own two guns. But I'm not a fanatic. I pretty much got them for hunting and target practice.

My husband just told me that we should get NRA stickers and put them on our cars so "No one will mess with us, they'll think we have a gun". :D

First time ever last week I got an app in the mail to join NRA. Tossed it. Dang! Maybe there was a sticker in there I could have put on my bike!!! Dang! Just the thing to frighten away all those vicious squirrels and bunnies I run into.
