So, what are you thought/s on this.
Been wondering about this when I tried another of an forum (Christianity) for almost a yr, but never really felt at home there. It was the religious part of it and etc. So, anyway I was born/raised as an Roman Catholic (reform). Been trying to find my way and still I'm though religion and spirituality. Leaning towards to pagan religion/s since I started on the path a couple of yrs ago.
Think thats it for now.

I am stuck in a similar quagmire. (did I spell that right?)
I can't seem to find any religion that fits. I might start my own.
I kinda hit the buddhist thing but miss on a few issues. I am not a big Jesus guy.
I more just want to meditate and feel at peace with the universe.
Once I build the guidelines for my religion I will post them.
Maybe there won't be any guidelines.
Maybe it will just be "do what you want with your life"
Not sure.

Yeah to what you just said. Have an question for you. Do you believe in god as well or just don't believe in them.

This god question is a good question. One that I can't answer.
I think I believe in energy. Kinda the giant mushroom theory of religion. I believe that all things are binded together.
I just don't have all the details figured out yet.
Do I believe in Jesus? Now that is another question. I believe in the historical aspect of Jesus. I believe in the historical aspect of Mohammed. But do I believe they were "chosen"... I guess I do.
But Martin Luther King was chosen as well. I just believe that people decided to recognize his prophecies in a different way.
I think people "inspired by god" are just inspired. I believe it is that connection that is true spirituality and therefore I can only describe it as "energy".
For instance, a religious experience for someone can be staring off into a sunset, the love for their child... or for me, D-Wade slamming home a basketball.
It has to be something inspiring and something that forms a greater connection to "whatever it is" that burns inside each of us.

Religions are so confining. And you have to deal with all that social BS. Why bother when a walk in the woods has the same effect or more so?

Perhaps because the effect of a walk in the woods isn't universal.
What is soothing for some is grating for others.
