Medical Marijuana, the law we voted for takes another blow.

The California Supreme Court, part of our Authoritarian Government, has kicked “WE THE PEOPLE” in the nuts again. On Thursday January 24, 2008 the California Supreme Court ruled that companies can fire employees that use Medical Marijuana, even when it is used off duty.
So just having residuals in your system from taking your medicine last Saturday will cost you your job this Monday, even if you haven’t taken any medicine since.

Taking your medicine as State Law allows can cost you your employment, your home, your car, your family, your life, your medical well being and your freedom.

Isn’t there something very wrong here? What about the millions people on anti-depressants? You don’t think these impair judgment? It has a warning right on the prescription bottle. On a Zoloft bottle it says “May cause drowsiness. Alcohol may intensify this affect. Use caution when operating a car or dangerous machinery” Do you really think that every person taking these drugs just stay home from work every day because there are residuals in their system and don’t drive for the same reason?

Just for the record I was in a serious accident in 2001 or 2002, sorry its been a while. A man pulled out from a stop sign, hesitated, and then continued and we hit him broadside. We were driving a ¾ ton Ford plumbing van loaded with tools. He was driving a late 80’s early 90’s Cadillac. We hit him directly between the front and rear doors on the drivers side. We knocked the rear axle completely off the car and the man had to be cut out do to the damage. While on the stretcher he told the ambulance driver that he had tried out his new anti-depression medication that morning. The ambulance driver immediately told the county police officer that had responded to the accident scene. The officer charged him with driving under the influence and arrested him on the scene. He was later found guilty in court for DUI.

The first thing I want to say here is I understand that most people need to take these medicines and take them correctly and honestly and a lot of people don’t. But that doesn’t mean that the doctors prescribe them correctly or in the proper amounts and that the same companies that fire employees for trace amounts of THC don’t do the same for anti-depressant and pain medication patients.

What I’m saying is people are being treated different because of the Federal Governments refusal to recognize our state laws.

Now onto the people that don’t need them, as many of them or use them in the correct manner.

What about the millions of people that are hooked on and abusing or taking Methadone, Oxycontin, Vicodin, Percosets and all the other highly addictive Opiate, Synthetic Opiates and Coca ( cocaine ) derived pain pills, yes Opiates and Cocaine, the same Opiates as Heroin and Opium, even more dangerous though because its highly refined and pressed into “legal” pills. The pill junkies, do you think they stay home because they took a pill or a fist full because they have built such a tolerance to them in a short amount of time they need to take more and more and stronger and stronger pills to get the same effect just like the Heroin junkie? Do they stay home just because they have residuals of that crap in their system or not get behind the wheel? I think not, in fact I know not. I see it every day. These people are all around me. Do you see how similar the pain pills and Heroin are now? What, these are ok because some big drug company made them and peddled them to a doctor and paid him to recommend them? This makes it ok? This makes it safe? These people are not a risk in the work place or behind the wheel?

These people are the same ones selling their pills for money because the doctors hand out prescriptions like these pills are candy. I’ve seen people get well over 150 pills a month and that is just one of their pain pill prescriptions, some people get 2 or 3 different ones in addition to their anti-depressants and other crap, and most of these pain pills go for $20, $30, and $40 each on the street.

People are buying their houses, cars and paying all their bills with the pills they buy for a $10 co-payment or less for hundreds of pills, and a lot of times free if they are on welfare medical, for each prescription. Nobody needs all those pills and the doctors know this, but, because they get paid by the drug companies to recommend their dope and sell it for them, they keep shoving them at us, I don’t give a damn what they say, It’s a fact and I see it every day.

Take all the people on these prescription drugs, prescribed to them or not, most of the time not, humiliate them by making them piss in a cup, test it and fire them too and you’ll find companies going out of business because they have no one left to work, nor will they be able to find any “clean” replacements.

This is our Authoritarian Big Brother hard at work every day to make sure that what we want, what WE THE PEOPLE VOTE INTO LAW, that Big Brother doesn’t like or agree with or makes Trillions of dollars for them is minimized to death.

Not that the Feds are honoring our VOTE anyhow. They keep stealing from, falsely arresting, imprisoning, and murdering in cold blood, honest and LAW abiding citizens every day for taking their medicine, growing their medicine or growing medicine and selling it at cost to others that are too sick to grow it themselves, by the laws WE THE PEOPLE voted into law.

So what do we do? How do we fight this injustice? We are dealing with a Authoritarian Government. What they say goes no matter what we say or vote for. Our Authoritarian Government, The United States Authoritarian Government of America knows best what is good for us and bad for us, and no matter how we vote Big Brother will be right there looking over our shoulder, ready to stomp on anything they don’t agree with that WE THE PEOPLE do. Isn’t that what a Authoritarian Government does? A Dictating Government? Decides what is good for us and what is not and enforces it no matter how we vote? Lets see, what is the definition of Authoritarian?

Authoritarian,
adjective
favoring or enforcing strict obedience to authority, esp. that of the government, at the expense of personal freedom : the transition from an authoritarian to a democratic regime.
Hmmm, sounds correct so far. Lets continue.
• showing a lack of concern for the wishes or opinions of others; domineering; dictatorial : he had an authoritarian and at times belligerent manner.
noun
an authoritarian person or Government
DERIVATIVES
authoritarianism noun.
This is what we are suffering from isn’t it? I think so, and unless you are blind as a bat you do too because here it is in black and white.

I know what I’m going to do. I’m refusing to work for money, I don’t need it. I refuse to support and pay taxes to a Government that refuses to honor the peoples vote. There are other ways to live and survive without working for money.

The Rainbow Family scares the hell out of the Feds because they have found a way to do that, have been doing it for decades and with the new laws since 9/11 have been branded “Domestic Terrorists” because of it and have their own Homeland Security division and officers to watch them to see how they do it and make their own laws to stop it. Well if I’m a “Domestic Terrorist” then that’s what I am and so be it.

I will trade my services for the goods I need. I will find legal ways of getting what I need and pay as little tax as I can, or none at all, every day for the rest of my life, so help me God, if there is a God. I haven’t decided that yet. And if they throw me in jail for that, GOOD, that’s even less tax I’ll pay and “3 hots and a cot”.

Kiss my butt Uncle Sam! Until you honor the peoples vote and every vote this is how I’ll live my life.

If everyone that feels as screwed as I do did the same thing I’m doing, our Government would have to change the way they treat the peoples votes and honor ALL laws. But in reality, most can’t for one reason or another but, many can and should band together to make a difference and tell the Feds and our Government that they have to obey the laws WE THE PEOPLE vote for.
So I ask everyone, find some way to reduce the money you hand over to the Government. Slow down when driving, Don’t make unnecessary trips to save the fuel you have to purchase. The Government sucks over 40 cents a gallon from your wallet to fund its crooked ways. Hitch-hike if you can or car-pool, work under the table or barter and trade for things you otherwise would have purchased. Buy used goods whenever possible, CUT UP YOUR CREDIT CARDS AND SEND THEM BACK, host a yard sale for extra cash that you don’t have to pay income tax on and in general reduce your use and need for cash and credit.

How long will the rest of the citizens of this country just sit and eat this crap sandwich, or do most of them need to have something in their stomach so they can take their PILLS.

Yeah I wrote all that. I dont have tv and was listening to the radio the other night and heard the news. It was about 8:00pm and when I went to bed I couldnt sleep I was so mad, so I got back up and spent 3 hours on it. I take the issue personally ans emotionally also as you can see. I have severe pain in both shoulders and several issues that marijuana is a very helpful therapy for but havent gotten a card yet. I dont really see where I should have to. I live in the mountains of Eastern Washington and see the pill problem getting worse every day. The big drug makers are scared that people are going to grow their own medicine and are trying to get as many people hooked on their dope as they can. Thanks for the warm welcome also. Peace to you and yours, Tokin

I can say that as someone who swallows 200mg's of anti-depressants per day that I do not have any kind of drowsiness or any other side effect from them whatsoever.

I also take .5 mg's to 1 mg of Atavin per day (Benzodiazipine) and also do not feel any effects other than positive ones.

Having said that I do not drink alcohol any more or any other stimulant.

Having said all that I believe that doctors should be able to prescribe whatever is necessary to cure ills. If that happens to be marijuana (which is less destructive than both Class A narcotics AND Alcohol) then I say the doctor needs to be empowered to do so.

It is time to replace taboo with common sense.

It's proposterous that the legality of medical marijuana is still even in question. There is no reason why it should be illegal, and it is in fact unethical that people are being denied viable and effective medicine due to some racist claims made seventy years ago and some vague sense of obligation to the abstract and terribly misguided "moral majority," a notion that is rooted in the belief that anything that slightly distrubs the status quo is morally incorrect. It's sickening. Are we going to equate people who need help with criminals forever? Is that the goddamn American way?

Here's an idea - why don't people do some substancial research and find out what marijuana is before they pass judgement on it and start preaching about ethics? Just a thought, I've heard about this hip new thing called logic and reasoning and think we should give it a try! Anybody with me?

wait a minute... you are proposing that we do research? Why bother. We will just continue to use leaches to cure everything.

What about rubbing chicken bones together?

Or how about doing some sort of funky chicken dance?

Science... we don't need no stinkin' science.
