Ok,

So part of the new and improved me includes trying to go more organic but also includes being a better eco-citizen.

I live in a condo so that makes my footprint fairly small.

Can I buy recycled clothing, furniture, etc?

Any thoughts.

Can I have a compost inside of my condo (that doesn't stink out the condo).

What can I do?

ideas? opinions? thoughts? suggestions? lewd comments?

My suggestion is to go to noimpactman.com (http://noimpactman.com) . This guy lives in New York City and has some great ideas. I've been following him for a while. :)

Yes, I was going to suggest what's above, but was beaten to the punch. There are many many ways you can live eco friendly in you place. Thrift stores have the best deals and especially if you are looking for furniture and decor that are not classified as antique (50's 60's and 70's).

I have one word for you: yard sales. My philosophy is if you can't get it for 50 cents, you don't need it.

not sure if a condo is the best place for a yard sale but the idea is sound. I am going to donate the stuff to a thrift store.

what they won't take gets recycled if possible.

we have building 19 and the Christmas Tree shop which buys left-overs from the major chains (walmart, target, etc) and then sells them at a reduced rate. I really like those places.

I am also a big fan of the Salvation Army. They got me through some hardtimes as a kid (we had zero money) and continue to help myself and others.

it's a good deal.

have you ever considered that maybe you aren't conservative but you are an independent? I don't see you as the Republican type.

Maybe you are a fiscally responsible, environment loving, organic independent.

You could start your own party!
