there are a bunch of sites about building yurts out there. i opted for a 16x32 military tent after evaluating costs.

tipi's are also damn dandy

dude korinna, you're crazy. i was TOTALLY planning on moving to humboldt but opted for colorado. love humboldt. BEAUTIFUL...and eh, great grass. good people too. i have some buddies out there who absolutely love it. have you made your final decision though? co or ca? i'll probably end up ultimately out there myself...i fell in love w/ it.
