i think the most important bit to point out in case you didn't read in depth on this is that whatever sum of money you get ($1800 in my case, me wife and 2 chilluns) is just an advance on next years refund, it's not like they are giving you money. i guess they are but it's actually your money. kinda like asking the wife for a few bucks to go buy a book, then the discussion about her not working (stay at home mom is a lot of work)

so it's your money
you'll be getting less back next year at tax time
unless you are quite low income or whatever the majority of demographic the refundees won't fall into

the idea is to go out and blow it. analysts are predicting that most people would save some, pay off some debts, ad they buy consumable things with it.
if you're a stock watcher might pick up on the big box store stockes just prior to when the checks mail

I personally will most likely bank it in a proverbial middle finger to the administration

Yet another failure of the American Economicist stimulast BS. Let's give people who don't have enough money just enough money to get them addiciting to the spending drug.

Give me a break. Just don't tax them and force Walmart to make up the slack.
