i've not only seen this movie, i own it. my first copy actually got stolen from me (i hate it when so-called friends steal), so i bought another copy a few months ago. i love the animation technique...it kind of overlays animation over actual footage. if you've checked out the special features on the dvd, you can get a peek at a few of the live action scenes. i think its a great movie, and its filled with intrigue. the 'boat car' scene in the beginning of the movie is an especially interesting way to start the movie off. i love the dialogue that concerns communicating emotions; how people may connect them to past events in their life, so even though you communicate something you feel is completely understood to someone, they may be taking it in an almost unique sort of way according to their own tailored experience in life, such as the concept of love. the concept of dreams vs. waking life is a complete subject all its own. i could go on and on... dont want to bore anyone ;)

yeah, i own it as well...the animation technique, is it called rotoscopping or something like that? i like how the boat car was sort of surreal
i liked the cootie catcher scene
the fortuen was cool..My favourite dialogue was when they were talking about lucid dreams, also...i've lost my brain but i actually love all of it, only the guy with the high voice on the bridge and the alien/morphing guy had annoying voices.
OH i loved the part about the last 6-12 minutes of nerve activity after you die-could be your whole life if it's like a dream.

i also want to add the scene where the protester lights himself on fire is also intriguing. if you watch the special features, that scene is one of them you can see as it was filmed in live action, obviously nobody really burns though ;)

the dialouge about the brain activity after you die was interesting, it implies many things, one of which being that you live almost another full life within those minutes after you die. there are so many intriguing topics in this movie, and many possible equally intriguing explanations/theories that can spout from those topics. this movie really makes you think, and it opens your mind in a million different directions... look at us, we are gushing. ahh well, good art makes for even better conversation ;)
