not sure which topic to stick this in, but it's very hippy and it was in Mother Earth News back in the day
so i have been charged by the lady of the house with cleaning the basement. probably because the mess is mostly mine....well...all mine
anyway, i was digging away sorting things burn (wood scraps mostly), save recycle...so on and so forth and i came across a blast from the past
used to be this guy at the ren fest selling this under a big ol' tent. camaleon garments, you can wear them a tone of different ways depending on how you draw the cords and cinch and fold and unzip. go from a dress to a skirt to pants to a pair of shorts tunic poncho, tent whatever, also a very light sleeping bag and or pillow
has anyone seen these?
i never bought the garment cause it was 'purt near' fifty bucks but i did get the pattern and lo and behold on the bottom of a pile of tax forms from 1992 was a neatly folded somewhat yellowed and faded pattern
here's some of the first links i found on it, i am going to charge the wife with making me 3 for backpacking/camping.
i cant find anyone selling these online so ifin there is interest i will draft the measurements and post them so you all can make your own
