You may think that hippies popped into the world about 1966 but there was actually a long and auspicious line of freedom seekers, nature lovers, spiritual explorers and social rebels that paved the way for us. crazylegs, you find some great stuff! really enjoyable... i could quote all the parts that stuck out and discuss, but that would take the entire day...

There was definately alot there.
I was very interested in the part about the Germans. Didnt know that practicly our entire culture came from them.

hey, I am German.

not sure how that relates to anything but I have been known to skinny dip here and there.

and a special thanks to Crazy Legs who almost got me fired at work.

i used to be (and still inactively am) a huge kerouac reader and one of my favorites is definitely visions of gerard ... just something else to check out if you haven't already. and it's weird (ish) because the part that i was going to go on and on about was the part about the germans and most notably, the quotes by goethe...he is AMAZING. more stuff to check out if one hasn't already!! but yeah, great article.
