Is anyone else watching the Pete Seeger special on PBS tonight?

Sorry I missed that. :bawl:
it will be on again. PBS runs everything a million times.

the special was really good. it was what they called "The Masters Series".

I live in a "no cable/no reception" area, so I missed that. I am a big fan and have had the chance to meet Pete Seeger twice. A coffeehouse in Baltimore had Pete come to do a benefit concert back in the early 80's; I worked the concert and then went with the group for coffee with Pete after the show. He is a very down-to-earth and caring person. Meeting him was not a disappointment. The second time I ran into him was at a gathering of topical musicians/songwriters in NYC. Perhaps the biggest thrill of my life was being on stage singing one of my songs and seeing Pete Seeger in the audience singing along. :43:

Wish I could have, but out local PBS station already made the switch to HD and I don't have cable or dish, so I have missed my beloved PBS since last October....... :(

Hey guys,

Check out the PBS website. They probably sell the DVD.

It was a really great special.

I, too, am unable to get PBS because of the switch to digital. However, I finally got the coupon in the mail, have ordered two converters, and am patiently waiting the arrival so PBS can be restored. Thank god I will have PBS back before summer vacation. My daughter's favorite show is Caillou, which I hate, but I sure do appreciate that half hour of quiet!
