My Newsfast Update

Well friends and neighbors, the news fast is actually going quite well. I'd highly recommend it. Been a month or so now. Not a clue on what Georgie and Johnny and Billary and the rest are up to. Sometimes I have to turn the radio off real fast or scroll and avert my eyes. I do catch a few snippets here and there. Nothing to attract me back to it though. It's all so murky. The only problem is I'm spending way too much time on constructive and creative projects now. Oh dear. What will become of me?

I would miss the news. as stressed out as I get I enjoy the fire. a double edged knife to be sure.

I just can't tap out.

there has to be a happy medium somewhere.

The only news i care about is what i get from the daily chow and the colbert report. I like to get the important stuff WITH OUT the murder of the day!
Ive been doin it with ya for the most part. NO local "regular" news.

Everyone's different. It was just causing me a lot of deep sadness and anxiety not all of which has gone away since I quit but definitely some. Now when I turn it on I start to feel a heaviness or constriction in my heart and I feel like alot of that has been lifted.

And the thing that get me most is when the reporters are on the crime scene with police lights in the background and they just still say everything through a smile. I have to ask what kind of heartless monster can report on a quadruple murder/suicide with a friggin SMILE ON!
