Please tell me this is a joke:bawl: I had no idea there was egg in those I thought it was all sugar. I am not a candy eater at all and there is just a "few" that I love, toblerones, chocolate oranges, and CADBURY EGSS:bawl: I will sign the petition...and stop eating those sweet gooey chocolatey messy horrible little torturous eggs.

What the hell I thought cadbury was a good company, I was just reading about there use of fair trade coco etc... maybe they will change there ways and I can once a year gorge myself on there tastie treats, there has to be hope,lol

I signed the petition too. Those little eggs are one of my fav. easter treats. Guess I'll be stocking up on different treats this year.

I didn't realise they contained egg either!!
But I checked the ingredients and they contain white egg powder which is derived from eggs laid by battery farmed chickens.

I reckon cadbury will agree with this - they are generally a "good" company.
The even sadder thing for me though is that I can't eat them ever again even if they do switch over.
I gave up eating eggs about a month ago!!!

I wonder how much difference it would make to the finished product if they left out the egg powder all together???

OH NO..this is very upsetting - who know the candy eggs had real egg..I guess as a thickening agent? They could probably do w/out for sure.
