I used to work in a shop and one of the little old ladies who came in regularly had used the same idea as the rugs but made bags out of them. Bags out of bags I know sounds a bit weird but they were very durable and long lasting and really appealed to my recycling nature.
Oooh I've just had an idea - hats made the same way would be brilliant wouldn't they!
You can make quite funky designs as well - the possibilities are endless.

Those bags are sick!!! I love them, You could use those for groceries.
Thanks so much for this idea, I am going to make one of these and if its as easy as it looks I will gather up any ones old bags and make them for my friends too!!!

I just checked the first link and those rugs are cool too, I dont have a floor loom though and I wonder what they would look like just doen by hand?? < oops, howd that happen?? Anyway, I want to make one, did ypu see how much she sells them for, whoa!!!

I liked the rugs those look cool! Especially the last one with the different colors that is awesome!
