View Full Version : Our hike during a freezing rain strom :)

I thought Id share some pics from a hike Kris and I took last weekend during a freezing rain storm, perfect day for a hike right,lol. We pretended that we were man vs wild and had to survive the horrible ice storm, it was fun!!!!


We took the dogs too, Blue in the lead, rufus right on his tail. This lil river is usually a trail we hike ir mountain bike on.

Man I almost missed this. Wow I wish I was there!!! Not. Although it is beautiful and photographed well. I like mild temps. I'm a weather sissy if you will.

I love it, nothing like it!! The woods have this eery sound, so quiet but so alive. It really is peacefull out there, the ice on the tree's clang together and makes music that cant be duplicated. When the snow is falling, you can hear it, so beautifull!


Dont get me wrong I am so ready for warmth and sunshine its killin me, but I do love all seasons, theres a part of me that always seems to change with them.

I can't wait until we move to the mountains.
I too love the mountains!!!! When I tell people what road I live on, there like oh that hill, you guys are crazy for living up there,lol It will be snowing at my house, I come down off the hill and into the NY border and no more snow, its so strange.
