Oh I love orchids too!!! Ive tried to grow them and ive failed everytime. I have tons of house plants and I really wanted to try orchids, so expensive thoughbut oh so pretty!!!! Maybe you could give me some tips :) Im sure they dont care for the weather here?

"S" stuff falling from the sky way too often, lol it does make it more difficult but not impossible for you to grow Orchids where you live. I know plenty of folks that live in much worse weather conditions and are growing them with success.
Depends on the type (genus/species) and the depth of your wallet.
I'll see if I can dig up some of the pics of ours that we have and post them.
